Insync Design was retained to bring a consistent identity and improved ergonomics to Stryker's line of spinal implant instruments. Working with the Stryker team and consulting surgeons, we were able to bring design refinement, functionality, and a strong brand identity to the product line.

Insync improved on Stryker's concept for a 1:2 input to output ratio medical screwdriver used in spinal surgery. A peanut shape enveloping two gears minimized the entire housing, gave a comfortable grip, reduced weight and maximized the viewing angle for the surgeon. We produced a CNC prototype which was used in cadaver testing.

"Simplicity" was everything in the development of the QBC Star. This innovative system provides the industry's simplest in-office solution for blood analysis, accomplishing what normally requires 3 or 4 separate machines. Insync Design drove the overall configuration and created an approachable design that visually reinforces ease of use.
